On Grey’s Anatomy last night Addison, sentimentally threw her wedding and engagement ring into the river….signifying that her marriage was over.

Now I have to say, Indian people would not do that.

No Siree bob.

Indian people, would pawn the ring, make a down payment on a house, or buy something to flaunt in the ex husband’s face.

Would you throw away your ring if things didn't work out? Also it get's me wondering if I should take up diving lessons and go hunt for my fortune at the bottom of Lake Ontario???

For the record if you don't want your ring, you don't want any bad ju ju, Ill be more than happy to take the ring off your hands!

I'd sell the ring and do something completely frivilous with the money...like buy a SUV ;-)

I would not throw them in the lake, no matter HOW good my hair looks when it's windswept.

I think this calls for a new business venture, I take what you out of sentimentality cannot sell...I run now to write my business plan!

Oooh, let me know how it goes. With the rate of divorce these days there must be a bloody big market in old rings or just the stones alone.

I work with a girl who got divorced not so long ago and she had a motza of a ring - 5 massive diamonds and a hell of a lot of gold. She had the two biggest stones made into earrings, but she just can't comfortably wear them because she says that whatever shape they take, they're still her engagement diamonds.

Another girlfriend of mine was proposed to - she said no but kept the ring!! He said he didn't want it back. The ended up getting married in the end but she made him propose again, AND she got another ring out of him. She is my hero.

I would not be selling my ring or anything of value I received. Sell, sell, sell or keep keep keep.

Look maybe the guy doesn't want the ring. Too many bad memories, I'm just saying I will be more than happy to take care of it, for all the parties involved....each gets a cut, depending on vested interest....=)

Bad Juju is a serious thing. Dont mess with the Juju. I'd have to sell em.. Dont want to keep that around. Even if I made it into earrings.. they would be too sentimental for me to manage.
Youre friend with the 2 engagement rings.. I need lessons... Seriously!
