When your 17, they encourage you to take your time, look around….why are you going out all the time, meeting all these boys, stay home, stay home….
When your 20, they say, you’ve got your whole life ahead of you, don’t settle down just yet…you’re too young, sure he loves you now, but something better is going to come along….
When your 25, they say, you’re still young, but you’d be surprised how fast life comes at you, you should start looking a little more seriously…..
When you 28, their noses flip up as you approach, as if you’re starting to smell like expired milk…and they say, ‘Why are you sitting at home, go out, meet people, it’s time, it’s time, it only gets harder as you get older….hurry up…it’s time….”

Damn, time flies, I remember 20 and 25 like it was yesterday, but those days have gone by years ago. Those were the fun days. Now I'm thinking very seriously about settling down and starting a family. [sigh]
Lol. This Christmas I was getting slammmed with questions like that. Meh.
(a part) of this sounds so familiar... SMH... best not to listen to them, eh??

CP, this is quite true. At 33 people are always trying to set me up, but I don't like being setup. I want to do the pursuing and I do... It's just the girls I pick don't want to be pursued by me. It's hard finding "The One" when you get bored with things really easily. I'm working on not being so choosy, but I never want to just "settle".
Oh, stop by my new work site sometime http://eddierenz.com I'm working for myself now... or trying to!
