Are You Honest In Your Blogs?

Or Do You Censor Your thoughts?

There are often things I want to Blog about.

It’s easy to confess your sins and exploits to non judgmental priests & bloggers with handles. It’s quiet another to yak on when there is the possibility of a friend or worse yet, the subject in question, accidentally reading it.

So what is more important: the eternal quest for honesty and truth; a full divest-ation of one’s mind on a blog or to be cautious and keep a few things to yourself?

I'm mostly honest, but will write and delete a post every so often because it think it's too personal or a little too passive/agressive. I try not to give the blog address to too many people I know ;-) This crazy girl had the address once and left all sorts of nasty comments....ever since then I pay WAY more attention to the people I give the address to. Her comments were nasty and bizzare, but at least it's good fodder for fiction!

Have a lovely weekend!

I do honestly speak my mind on my blogs, but I do reserve some of my thoughts.

I'd say I'm 90% honest.I keep a little back, in case friends or family stumble on it.

I say not to put everything on it. I've had other blogs that I thought were completely anonymous and had my brothers find it.

There are some people who entered my life last year who are no longer a part of it and who don't need to know what's going on in my life...so I shall not blog again.

It's dead.

I'm pretty honest but I don't talk about friends who might read my blog. I regret ever mentioning my blog to them because if I hadn't, then it could be open season on friends all the time. Now when I meet new guys I don't tell them I even blog. That way I can slice and dice them as it suits me.That's part of the reason I'm schiz with my pic--up, down, up, down

It's better to be cautious. You don't want to have friends or worse bosses stumble on the blog and then all sorta issues come to the fore.

I am cautious for the most part. I did not even give the blog address to a co-worker, but she stumbled across it accidentally, and made the cnnection to me. My significant other is also an avid reader of my blog, therefore I can't rant and cuss him as I have a mind. Hmprh. Curses!!

Agreed....i've given my address to some friends and find myself censoring myself as a result.....

Am going to strive to be more open and honest.....as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.

On the flip side, how come perfect strangers read my blog with such dedication and my friends act like it is the biggest chore EVER?

Censored honesty. I don't give the address to ANYONE but I'm still careful.

The question on why friends find it a chore now, hmmm, maybe because they know you, the happenings are old news to them.
