I received a package via inter office mail today. From one of the administrative assistants I had helped make up packages for an upcoming meeting.

The freak sent me back all the paper clips we used.

Who does that??

the kind of person who would want their paper clips back. Do unto others. . .

Ohh, you should send something back too. Did they give you a piece of gum, or anything?

strange!

You cannot be too careful with paperclips. Casual use of paperclips leads to global warming. And global warming leads to the extinction of the Republican Party at the polls. This whole thing may be bigger than you think.

That is the best story. I love it. I am going to co-opt it as my own.

Alcuin, I love the connect the dots process, and I did wonder for a second if this was her obsessive way of being 'green,' but really....she could have given it to me the next time she say me...inter office mail = freak

Miz JJ.....Coopt Away!

GC, B&G, Jdid: Oh she is going to get return mail, i just gotta figure out what......

WTF?!?!? On a very very VERY different level, that is kind of cool, and actually a little flirty. Interesting!

Maybe you could send them back to her again, gift wrapped?

Hee hee! :)
This person is either extremely considerate or extremely cynical.

How very Milton-in-Office-Space obsessive of her. I love it!

You should send it in to the writers of The Office. I can so see the blonde chick (Meredith?) doing that.

I remember once upon a time I had bout 80 pen pals, the old fashioned snail mail kind. I used to send the special ones some 'gifts' in the envelopes. Empty chewing gum or dinner mint wrappers, a piece of straw (coloured of course), some drawings I had my cat do (he was sooo talented!), and once I even sent along once ah dem big, long legged mosquito to a Japanese gyul. I have to admit, they thought I was kinda weird but strangely, they always tried to guess what was coming next.

Someone who really likes licking the envelope in which you send mail - a glue-sniffer? How many other colleagues has this person hit with mail for the habit?

Jumbie, that's just odd, having said that I am tempted to give you my address just to see what you would send me...

Chenette: The woman is a nut job, I am scared to even wonder what she does for fun...

CP, It may be odd, but trust me, you open an envelope and a smile cracks your face... its the little things that gives us a laugh and a great day. At least, that's the way I see it. I don't need a lotto win, but a nice postcard? You get my drift?

You know Jumbie, I must agree, i got an unexpected card on Friday and it made my day....remember those days of chain letter pen pals???
